MOUNTAIN TIME
There was a moment while visiting friends in the mountains where I stepped outside to take some pictures. As I stood on their deck I could see the continental divide to my left and the city lights of Denver to my right. The wind blew in a sensation I had twelve years ago which instantly came back to me. The feeling of Colorado. Sometimes I think you can only feel Colorado when you're alone standing outside up in the mountains. It's like a whisper that goes across your cheek to your nose to your other cheek which makes both cheek rise the corners of your mouth up to smile. An instant reminder of life, love and adventure. The pure essence of love which was surround by us in every direction. It was like a boomerang - the love I sent out to the mountains was returned to me by friends, family and the love I've had for Colorado for so many years. Each step we took, each place we explored, each person we visited there was so much love there welcoming us.
