vaca with the babe
Our first vacation with Easton went really well - we were a bit nervous about the 8 hour drive and what we could do with him in sunny Florida but we did it! Every spring break my dad and little sister head to Orlando. This year my little sister brought a friend and we picked up my Grandma in Ocala and brought her down. We had a full house and many people who wanted to hold and spend time with Easton. When we arrived we opened up the back of the truck and my dad instantly said, "you packed to much". Our truck was filled with Easton's gear, we ended up taking our golf clubs out. We figured first vacation better to be comfortable and learn what not to bring next time (packing list below). By the end of the trip there were only two items that I could have lived without (mentioned below), so I was happy with that.
Our drive down - me pumping in the truck, thank goodness for the outlet in the back of the truck

Before we left I checked with the Doc to make sure we could take Easton in the pool. He said only 10 minutes in the sunlight as the Florida sun is so strong, but after sunset as long as he wants. I was so excited since I grew up swimming from a very young age. I couldn't wait to get him in the pool. In typical new mom fashion I dressed Easton in his diaper then over his diaper went the little swimmers diaper and then his full sun suit. I had him bundled for sure, nothing was leaking through into the pool.
We enjoyed family time, a workout with my sister, downtown Disney, Legoland, shopping at the outlets, much needed pool time, swimming with Easton, home cooked dinners with help from my sister and her friend Emily, campfire, dinner out with the whole family, a morning photography outing with my sister and much much more.
